Spearheading the foundation of TurboTax’s first design system, in 2018 I built a high-performance team to deliver a scalable, cross-product ecosystem as a key resource for design and engineering leaders across the enterprise. Within 12 months, we doubled velocity for product teams and led the mobile-first transformation of our apps. Our design system enabled an end-to-end experience refresh and was awarded both a Webby and an Industrial Designer Society of America IDEA award.
When I joined Mailchimp at the close of 2023, my team overhauled the business’s design system to align with Intuit’s small business ecosystem, addressing gaps in the product experience and improving customer satisfaction by 60%.
